Why take French classes? Travel to France or Canada or other French speaking countries. Participate in French book clubs, maintain the bilingualism of their children (when they lived abroad), work for/with French corporations, learn the language of their significant other and be comfortable speaking with their family, or even brush up their French to teach it in school. These are just a few examples.
I am a native French speaker born in France; I have lived in the USA since 2000 and speak English fluently. I teach both French and English as a Second Language (ESL). I am used to teaching/ coaching/ interacting with students of all ages (12-80+) and with professionals in a corporate environment. In fact I have worked in-countries and remotely with people located in France, Poland, India, Canada, Guatemala, Brazil etc. I speak some Spanish and German, and that might help you as well, depending on your background. I am happy to add a cultural dimension to the language support.
Most of my students have become friends and we always look forward to our upcoming sessions. In many instances, I visited them in the 4 corners of the US and Canada, as shown on the picture collage. I always adapt my sessions to the centers of interest of my students. Those sessions are really fun! I look for students sincerely interested in making great strides and committed. Some of my students have taken lessons with me for more than 10 years! Taking French language courses is like learning to play an instrument, practicing a sport or dancing!
Don't just take my word for it - hear what my students have to say about their French classes experience with Take French Lessons. My students come from all walks of life and have achieved impressive results.
